Founded in 2014, the FGV Public Transparency Program (PTP) is a joint research project composed of students and professors from FGV-EBAPE and FGV DIREITO RIO.
Three central questions guide the activities of the Public Transparency Program (PTP) of FGV:
- Firstly, to what extent are public authorities complying with the new rules and laws of public transparency?
- Secondly, to what extent can transparency mechanisms provide information on the performance of public agencies and servants? Are the authorities managing their personnel, their processes and their obligations regarding public policies in a fair, efficient and accountable manner?
- Finally, how can we improve the measures and methods that researchers, citizens and the media use to assess government transparency?
